Hrifningu means rapture in Icelandic. An evocative fire performance with newly composed music by Pablo Sorribes Bernhard.

For this fire show Nordcirkus wanted me to evoke feelings of rapture, passion and blood, so I created a soundtrack which was inspired by the "Viking" music made by the likes of Wardruna and Heilung. 

The soundtrack features Viking-style chanting in Icelandic, Greek instruments, some epic orchestral moments and a fair bit of amazing solos by some of my musician friends: Fredy Clue, Nemuer, Thor Ahlgren, Malva Malmgren, Einar Zethelius & Ásgeir Sigurjónsson.
